They can also help students to come up with a tribunal belief that lead to successful outcomes. Encourage students to develop learning goals and encourage good relationship between their peers and staff.

Most schools are facing challenges on the students who have developed negative attitudes and behavior towards academic motivation. A preventive approach to promoting academic motivation is through classroom guidance, small group counseling intervention, and individual counseling intervention.  A school counselor plays a major role in academic motivation as part of counseling programs in academic domain.

The first step to coping with COVID -19 lockdown is to practice tolerating uncertainty. Intolerance to uncertainty can lead to anxiety and people who have difficulties in coping with anxiety are likely to experience elevated anxiety. A quick solution to this kind of problem is to gradually learn how to face uncertainty on a daily basis. The next step is to tackle the anxiety paradox. COVID 19 Ventilator Shortage.

COVID -19 pandemic is an infectious disease that is caused by a coronavirus and is highly contagious. It began in Wuhan in China in December 2019. The infection has spread in more than 200 countries infecting millions of individuals and causing more than a hundred thousand deaths.

A ventilator is medical equipment that provides respiratory support to patients, whose lungs have been severely compromised by the infection, leading to breathing complications. The ventilator supplies oxygen in the lungs and helps to regulate the breathing process of the patient. A humidifier is used in ventilators specifically to add moisture and heat to the oxygen so as it can match the body temperature of the patient. There two types of medical ventilators, invasion mechanical ventilation, and non-invasion ventilation. The invasion of mechanical ventilators forces oxygen to flow in small air passages of the inflamed lungs of the patient who experience difficulty in breathing. It uses an endotracheal tube which is inserted in the trachea to allow the flow of oxygen into the patient’s lungs. A non-invasion ventilator is used to manage less severe COVID-19 patients.

COVID-19 outbreak has led to a shortage of ventilators because the number of patients who require respiratory care has also increased. Globally, health care systems are experiencing shortages and especially countries that are extremely hit by the pandemic. The situation is alarming and the shortage is due to issues related to global chain supply. The countries exporting medical equipment like the ventilators have come to a halt since the production of the medical equipment requires more intensive capital and expertise.

As the respiratory illness caused by COVID-19 continues to spread worldwide, national governments and healthcare systems are facing a lot of difficulty in obtaining the ventilators to support the patients. There is a need to innovate the application of addictive medicine like 3D printer technology which will ensure the availability of the ventilators for future use in case of a viral outbreak.

Most companies try to win customers or potential customers through various social media channels by allowing them to contribute to product development or another form of empowerment like preferred colors, flavors, and other characteristics of the product.

Initially, consumers were considered to be at the bottom of the business pyramid and it was difficult for them to express their dissatisfaction with either the service or products purchased. Thanks to social media outlets because right now the consumers can easily express their criticism or praise of various brands. This has resulted in building a working relationship between the two parties where views can be exchanged and opinions can be voiced. Social media has been beneficial since business performances have become better and improved greatly since brand companies understand the consumer and know what they think about their product. The brand with a strong consumer following has greatly benefited because of the direct line of communication and engagement to purchase their product and services through social media marketing.

The particularly underage users have been enticed since marijuana has been packed in enticing forms of candy, cookies, and sodas. Starbuck’s Audit Plan

The first step to the plan is the statement of principles. The auditor’s services are considered independent and nothing to cause interference and hence the audit and the compliance committee is required to pre-approve all the services audited and non-audited performed by the independent auditor. The application of policies and procedures are put in place during the pre-approval of proposed services. Services that exceed pre-approval level cost, the final approval is done by the committee. The general pre-approval of Audit, Audit-related, tax, and all other services is done by the committee after every twelve months unless stated otherwise. At no time should the committee delegate its mandate of pre-approval services done by the independent auditor to the management.

The next step is delegation; the committee gives the chairman power or authority to pre-approve the entire request done in the committee meetings. It is then required of the chairman to give a report of the pre-approval decisions in the next meeting. Step three is the audit services and this is approved by the committee. The auditor will require annual consolidated financial statements, subsidiary audits, and testing of internal controls to be able to form his opinion on the company’s consolidated financial statement. Audit related services are performed by an independent auditor and the services may include financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory reporting matters, among other issues. The committee believes the auditor can provide tax services such as tax compliance, tax advice, and planning. All other services believed to routine and recurring are pre-approved by the committee and handed over to the independent auditor. The independent auditor provides pre-approval fees levels of all the services and is established annually by the committee. The last step is the procedure. The president and the controller of the budget receive the requests and applications from the auditor general which includes the description of the services to be offered and the estimated cost.

Physicians Assisted Suicide

Physicians Assisted Suicide refers to voluntary self-administering of prescribed lethal medication by the patient. Euthanasia is a medical term that refers to the deliberate or direct cause of death by the physician. There are three types of euthanasia: the first one is voluntary euthanasia, in this case, the patient specifically considers taking up his life and he is consistent about it. Involuntary euthanasia, the patient’s life is cut short against his/her will. Non-voluntary euthanasia, in this scenario the patient is incapacitated and is not in a position to consent or object to the decision of ending his life. Non-voluntary euthanasia (NVE) has equally been proposed and opposed in the intensive care unit (ICU). Euthanasia is always considered at the intensive care unit basically to enhance numbers and the quality of organs for donations.

All suffering patients who are close to the end of their life are prioritized for quality palliative care. To minimize the request for physicians assisted suicide (PAS), patients are always assured of excellent palliative care and that they will not be abandoned during suffering. The requests for (PAS) are still increasing despite the assurance of excellent symptom control.

Some patients will benefit from an intervention to cause death. There is no need to prolong life if the patient suffers from intolerable pain. Many dying patients will request for physicians assisted suicide, not because of the physical pain but the feeling of lack of control, deterioration, loss of dignity, weakness, tiredness, or pointless suffering. Death is not a pleasant experience although sometimes it is justifiable to end a patient’s life deliberately so as to end any form of suffering. It is sometimes right to accept the positive aspect of being alive might outweigh the burden of being alive and suffering.
