Your report should also critically evaluative how organisation can use motivational theories and techniques to have a positive impact on the behaviour of employees and to turn around the performance of the organisation.
At the end of your report, you must include conclusion and justified recommendations that enables teams and organisations to succeed.
You are to carry out considerable research on any of the chosen organisation. You will need to demonstrate that you have a good understanding of individual and group behaviour in organisations, and how to examine current theories and their application in managing behaviour in the workplace.
You need to submit your work in a “Formal Report Format” to the management of the organisation and should include title page, table of contents, introduction of your chosen organisation, conclusion and recommendations. Your report should be referenced using the Harvard referencing system. Please also provide a bibliography using the Harvard referencing system. This part of the assignment gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your ability to work with others, based upon the understanding of group and group dynamics. In your work, you also need to assess the benefits of working in a team: identify the mix of knowledge, skills and experience necessary for a team to fulfil its functions in an organisation. Your reflective statement should also demonstrate and discuss the benefits of working in a team as a leader and member towards specific goals, dealing with any conflict or difficult situations to develop roles during team assignments. You also need to review and relate the effectiveness of teamwork in achieving the goals in the workplace.
Your reflective statements should also cover, explore and evaluate how concepts and philosophies of organisational behaviour influence on behaviour of employees in both, positive and negative way. Furthermore, a critical analysis and evaluation of team development theories on the behaviour of employees in your chosen organisation is also required.
