“My article is about using neurofeedback techniques as an alternative to pharmaceutical treatments for adult ADD. The medication used to treat ADD/ADHD has numerous negative side effects and is typically a controlled substance that can become addictive. The study showed that just 30 minutes of using these techniques increased short-term plasticity. The study also showed that using these techniques increased the concentration ability and an increase in the P3 wave which is linked to integration of information.
I was drawn to this story because I have suffered from ADD since I was a child. I have used different medications, vitamins, and techniques through the years. I am currently using just vitamins, detailed notes, and reminders to help keep my ADD in check. I am in a new position at work that requires far more concentration that my previous position, so this has led me to wanting to find a solution. I would love to find out how I could use these techniques to help at both work and in school. I could go back on medication but don’t feel these are healthy long term. Between work and school, I have tried many different strategies and would like to explore and use this as an alternative to medication.

“Hello Class,
So basically my news story is about how researchers have found new specialized immune cells in cauliflower coral and starlet sea anemones. They found that these cells can help coral and other reef animals thatlive in reefs fight off various foreign cells like bacteria and viruses. I thought this news article was interesting because I love all see life. I am a advent sea fisherman I want to keep basically all bodies of water clean and safe for the animals there. Also I fish for food not for sport. Sea life is strange in its own way there is a lot down there that we haven’t even discovered yet. This may also help us understand our own immune cells as well.
